July 31, 2026 • Woodbine, Iowa
Join us for the Grand Opening of the WINR Center and the 20-Year Anniversary of Natural Fertilizer Services. An afternoon and evening of facility tours, great food, live music, and community.
Two Milestones
This is a big one. We're opening the doors to the first WINR (Waste Into Nutrient Recovery) Center: a facility built to transform organic waste streams into natural fertilizer, closing the nutrient cycle and creating wins for farmers, communities, and the environment.
We're also celebrating 20 years of Natural Fertilizer Services. What started as a one-person operation managing manure in western Iowa has grown into a company serving 1,000+ partners across 100,000+ acres, with support from the USDA's Fertilizer Production Expansion Program and recognition as the 2025 Neal Smith Iowa Entrepreneur of the Year.
Come see the facility. Meet the team. Hear the vision for what's next.

The Day
Walk through the new WINR Center. See the Aerated Static Pile composting technology, the processing infrastructure, and the vision for nutrient recovery, up close.
Abe Sandquist opens the ceremony with remarks on 20 years of building toward this moment. Followed by remarks from Mike Naig, Iowa Secretary of Agriculture. Ribbon cutting to officially open the WINR Center.
Local Cattlemen's Association grilling supper. Tours continue for anyone who hasn't seen the facility yet. Grab a plate, catch up with neighbors, and enjoy the evening.
Stick around for live music into the evening. The perfect way to close out a day of celebration.
